LA County Fair PomonaNextFest 2024
Kid City is excited to invite you all to our Music Program's first performance at the LA County Fair's Annual NextFest Music Festival. Join us at 1 p.m. at the Community Stage to listen to our youth's blossoming talents from the explosive Zewag3 to the smooth tunes of the Street-side Jazz Ensemble.
Through the generosity of friends at NextFest we have 300 tickets to see Kid City musicians perform on the community stage! But we do have costs! $1500 for a bus to take musicians, chaperones, and instruments to the fair. We estimate another $500 for meals during the day.
Our music program is free and takes students from a beginner level to a point where we hold space for them to show the fruits of their labor alongside their friends and peers to present you with this great show. We encourage them to pursue what draws them into music and it helps to platform music from diverse genres and time periods allowing them to express themselves in the style of music that feel right to them.
