College Bound

At Kid City, our mission is to empower and demystify the often complex college application and financial aid process. We recognize that many students lack access to full-time college counselors or attend under-resourced schools unable to provide individualized support. To address this need, we offer the College Access Program (CAP), which includes two tailored tracks:

  • Juniors: early preparation & exploration

  • Seniors: applications & financial aid support

Through workshops, mentorship, and personalized advising, students receive accurate, up-to-date information about higher education pathways—including University of California (UC) and California State University (CSU) systems, private universities, and community colleges. Our goal is to ensure every student is informed, supported, and ready to take the next step toward college success.

Junior College Access Program

Junior CAP (JCAP) supports high school juniors with early college exploration, academic planning, and goal setting. Students learn about college systems, admissions, and financial aid, and participate in campus visits to prepare for their senior year and beyond.

Senior College Access Program

Senior CAP (SCAP) guides high school seniors through the college application and financial aid process. Students receive one-on-one support, attend workshops, and visit college campuses to ensure they are prepared, confident, and ready for their transition to college.
