Kevin Corbett is the Executive Director of Learning and Performance for University Advancement at the University of Southern California. He oversees the transition of new employees to USC's advancement community and is responsible for the planning and execution of individual and team learning opportunities designed to increase institutional knowledge, develop skills and enhance performance.
Corbett has 15 years of experience working in nonprofit fundraising. For the last eight, he has worked in higher education advancement.
Prior to his roles in advancement training and development, he held a senior administrative role in alumni relations at The George Washington University, where he established and maintained alumni affinity programs and managed all administrative activity and outreach associated with the alumni association's board of directors.
Corbett earned his bachelors in Music from Palm Beach Atlantic University, and he earned his master's degree in business administration from GW in 2011. Shortly after, he was hired as the director of learning and development to establish the learning function for the Division of Development and Alumni Relations.
Corbett remains actively involved in his professional community outside of his work at USC through his participation in CASE, Organization Development Los Angeles, and the Advancement Learning Network. He is currently pursuing his coaching certification through the International Coaching Federation.
